The Sawmill

Our sawmill gives us the ability to turn quality locally sourced timber into beautiful, practical and characterful pieces.

We have our own supply of carefully selected timber, allowing us to produce a range of sawn timber products here at Vyrnwy Logs. But our sawmill is also about making the most of the timber already on your own land.

If you have a tree that needs to be felled, or timber from your own land that you would like to put to good use, we can collect suitable timber and mill it into bespoke pieces to suit your requirements. Rather than seeing a valuable tree simply become firewood, we can help give it a new life.

• Large timber slabs

• Bespoke cuts for individual projects

Our slab timber is particularly suited to carpenters, joiners and makers looking for something with character. Large, natural-edged pieces can be carefully selected and prepared ready to be transformed into tables, furniture and more ornate bespoke pieces.

Every piece of timber is different. The character, grain, knots and natural shape of the wood are part of what makes it unique, and we enjoy working with the timber to bring those features to life.
